Your Neighbors Notice The Cracks.
A crumbling driveway kills your curb appeal faster than weeds. We tear out the weak foundation and install highway-grade asphalt that withstands Florida heat and heavy SUVs.
The Material Difference
We don't use generic "blacktop". We use engineered mixes designed for the specific humidity and UV index of South Florida.

Our Process
The 5-Stage Engineering Process
Demolition & Excavation
We don't pave over failure. We strip the existing surface down to the sub-grade, removing organic material and unstable soil that causes sinking.
Limestone Stabilization
The most critical step. We install a crushed limestone road base, compacted to 98% density. This creates the structural spine of your driveway.
Laser Grading
Water is the enemy. We grade the base with laser precision to ensure runoff flows away from your garage and foundation, preventing pooling.
Hot Mix Application
We apply FDOT-approved hot mix asphalt at 300°F. Unlike 'cold patch' used by amateurs, this fuses into a solid, seamless mat.
Vibratory Compaction
Using multi-ton industrial rollers, we compress the asphalt to eliminate air pockets, sealing the surface against oxidation and moisture.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best material for a Florida driveway?
Hot Mix Asphalt is superior for South Florida. Unlike rigid concrete which cracks as sandy soil shifts, asphalt is flexible. It adapts to minor ground movement without structural failure, making it the most durable choice for West Palm Beach terrain.
How long must I wait to drive on a new asphalt driveway?
We recommend keeping vehicles off the new surface for at least 3 full days (72 hours). However, the asphalt will continue to cure and harden for 6-12 months. Avoid sharp steering while stationary during the first summer.
Do you install overlay or do you rip out the old driveway?
We rarely recommend overlays. An overlay puts a heavy new layer on top of an already failed foundation. For a long-lasting result, we perform a 'Rip and Replace,' removing the old asphalt to inspect and stabilize the sub-base first.
Does All County & Son, Paving offer warranties?
Yes. All new residential driveway installations come with a written 1-year warranty covering materials and workmanship. We stand behind our compaction density and drainage grading.
